Little Mule – Stanmore, Sydney

A great little cafe right near Stanmore station serving Campos coffee and a good menu of satisfying breakfast and lunch goodies. The double shot flat white highlights the coffee of the month- this one’s from Brazil (Fazenda Rainha) and has a unique delicious flavour. The coffees, teas, brownies, muffins and “sarnies” are all promptly served. The breakfast and lunch menu is really quite interesting -from breakfast burritos, granola, yoghurt, fruit to  poached eggs, baked mushrooms, hummus, dukkah, smoked salmon, salads and more. The cool space with bare walls and metal/wooden furniture with minimal vintage/industrial touches works well. It’s a nice place to hangout, on the sidewalk or inside, but it also caters well for the commuters on the run- coffees with breakfast “sarnies” seem to be very popular. Special mention for the genuine scene-stealing little mule ride in the back corner. Surely every child’s delight. This is a wonderful local cafe that deserves to be visited on a regular basis. The Mule logo, done by a friend, is a little piece of graphic genius. 136 Percival Road, Stanmore, New South Wales
